(October 16th 2011) – Encore’s Harvest Festival
What better way to celebrate a plentiful bounty than enjoying the plethora of musical stylings Encore has to offer? Sink into the warm feeling of autumn-themed music as we take your mind away from the chill in the air outside. Warm woodwind, brass, and percussion sounds abound in our season’s first performance.

(Saturday Nov. 12, 2011) Encore hosts the Port Elgin Community Band
Saunders Secondary School auditorium 2. 30 pm. Admission - free.

(December 4th 2011) – Jingle Bill Rock
Perfect pairings offered on this Sunday afternoon include: compositions with community, Encore with Bill Brady, toe-tapping traditional favourites with exciting new musical experiences, and most importantly enjoying holiday music with helping those in need. Our annual benefit for Mission Services promises to be an afternoon of harmony, humour and humanity.

(February 12th 2012) - With Love… Denise Pelley
If “love is all you need”, then let it come in the form of Denise Pelley’s amazing voice surrounding you and warming up your heart! This renowned local favourite joins us for an afternoon of songs that are sure to get your heartstrings playing along with Encore. The talent of Jeff Christmas joins us in a première collaboration that is so fine, you’ll want to get to THIS concert on time.

(April 15th 2012) - In Full Bloom
Every year, Encore… the Concert Band grows in musical diversity and maturity while keeping roots in traditional band favourites. This programme promises not to disappoint. We pay homage to our beginnings, shine a musical light on the present of this wonderful band, and offer you songs that brim with enthusiasm for the future.

(June 3rd 2012) – Jazz into Summer featuring LJO
Is the Central Auditorium big enough for this sound? You’ll have to come and find out, as we pair up with the London Jazz Orchestra for a big afternoon of Big Band and Jazz. This double bill will send you off into the Sunday sun with a permanent smile and a feeling of cool, because what’s as cool as a bunch of fine musicians that give the audience plenty to enjoy and remember? A big performance of the 1812 Overture.

In addition to the Subscription Series Concerts, Encore...The Concert Band also performs for community activities. In 2006, Encore played at the convention of the Ontario Music Educators Association, the first time in 75 years that they had invited a community band to play in their Showcase Concert. The OEME have again invited Encore to play at their 2010 convention in London in November. Details will be posted when available

All concerts are held on Sunday afternoons in the auditorium of Central Secondary School, Dufferin Ave / Waterloo, London starting at 2.00pm. The school has a large parking lot and there is also adjacent street parking and an underground parking garage next door at City Hall.
